Journeyman-in-Training

A Journeyman-in-Training means a person who is licensed to assist in making plumbing installations under the direct supervision of a journeyman plumber of a master plumber who may not act as or represent that the person is a journeyman plumber.

How to apply

Fees
  • Application fee of $25.00
  • License fee of $100.00
  • Criminal background check fee of $21.00
Term
  • 4 years based on first licensure date
Requirements
  • Satisfactory completion of a plumbing course consisting of one year or 2 semesters at a board-approved community college; and
  • Successfully passing the journeyman plumbers examination.
