Superintendent of Insurance Announces Change in Location and Time for
Continuation of Dirigo Savings Offset Payment Hearing

Augusta, Maine: The Superintendent of Insurance today announced a change in location and time for the continuation of the Dirigo Savings Offset Payment hearing. The hearing which began on Monday, October 24th in Augusta in Room #209 of the Cross Office Building was to continue on Thursday, October 27th and Friday, October 28th at the Bureau’s offices in Gardiner. However, in response to requests by interested persons, the hearings on Thursday, October 27th and Friday, October 28th will resume at 9:30 a.m. again in Room #209 of the Cross Office Building, 111 Sewall Street, Augusta, Maine.

The purpose of the hearing is for the Superintendent to review Dirigo’s determination of aggregate measurable costs savings resulting from the operation of Dirigo.
