Continuing Education waivers or deferments for active duty military personnelResolve, Chapter 140, was signed into law by Governor John Baldacci on April 27, 2004. This resolve grants state license authorities the ability to waive or defer all or any portion of any continuing education requirement for active military duty personnel holding a professional or occupational license. A copy of this law can be obtained by clicking on the following link: http://www.mainelegislature.org/ros/LOM/LOM121st/Res102-147/Res102-147-38.htm Written requests for deferment or waiver of continuing education may be submitted by, or on behalf of, licensees currently on active military duty.
