The insured requested a hearing regarding the company’s nonrenewal of her automobile insurance policy. Although the insured resides out of state, the evidence indicates that the vehicle insured under the policy remains in Maine in storage.

Held: For the insured. The company’s reason for nonrenewal was that the vehicle is no longer garaged in the state of Maine, but the company did not establish this. As none of the grounds allowing termination of an automobile insurance policy under the jurisdiction of the Maine Automobile Insurance Cancellation Control Act were implicated, the nonrenewal is not allowed.
