SUPERINTENDENT’S NOTICE

TO INTERESTED PARTIES

            Skowhegan Savings Bank, Skowhegan, Maine, notified the Superintendent of the Bureau of Financial Institutions, pursuant to 9-B M.R.S.A. §336, of its intent to close its Corinna branch office located at 2 Fernald Street, Corinna, Maine.   

            You may request that the Bureau of Financial Institutions require Skowhegan Savings Bank to submit a comprehensive application in support of their proposal through Monday, February 25, 2008, pursuant to the provisions of 9-B M.R.S.A. §336.  Written comments should be submitted to the Bureau of Financial Institutions, 36 State House Station, February, Maine 04333-0036 and electronic comments may be filed through the Bureau of Financial Institutions' Web site at http://www.maine.gov/pfr/financialinstitutions/index.shtml.
