SUPERINTENDENT’S NOTICE

TO INTERESTED PARTIES

Government Employees Credit Union of Maine, Portland, Maine, notified the Superintendent of the Bureau of Financial Institutions, pursuant to 9-B M.R.S.A. §336, of its intent to close its branch office located at Brunswick Naval Air Station, Brunswick, Maine.

You may request that the Bureau of Financial Institutions require Government Employees Credit Union of Maine to submit a comprehensive application in support of their proposal through Friday, March 14, 2003, pursuant to the provisions of 9-B M.R.S.A. §336.  Written comments should be submitted to the Bureau of Financial Institutions, 36 State House Station, Augusta, Maine 04333-0036 and electronic comments may be filed through the Bureau of Financial Institutions’ Web site at www.maine.gov/financialinstitutions .
