BANK SUPERINTENDENT'S NOTICE

TO INTERESTED PARTIES

Coast Line Credit Union, South Portland, Maine, has requested permission to amend its bylaws to expand its field of membership, in accordance with Title 9-B M.R.S.A. § 848.

Coast Line Credit Union’s present field of membership consists of employees of the Maine Central Railroad Company, Boston and Maine Railroad Company or Springfield Terminal Railway Company or any of their subsidiaries, affiliates and associates; and any persons who live, work, worship or attend school in, and businesses located in, Cumberland County. The proposed bylaw change is to expand its field of membership to add persons who live, work, worship or attend school in, and businesses located in the Portland-South-Portland-Biddeford Maine Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The Bureau reviewed the documentation submitted by Coast Line Credit Union in support of its request. As a result of that review and analysis, the Bureau approved the request to expand the field of membership by adding the requested well-defined community. Therefore, as amended, the field of membership for Coast Line Credit Union consists of employees of the Maine Central Railroad Company, Boston and Maine Railroad Company or Springfield Terminal Railway Company or any of their subsidiaries, affiliates and associates; and any persons who live, work, worship or attend school in, and businesses located in the Portland-South-Portland-Biddeford Maine Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Any person aggrieved by this final agency action shall be entitled to judicial review, pursuant to the provisions the Maine Administrative Procedures Act, Title V, Chapter 375, Subchapter VII (5 M.R.S.A. § 11001, et seq.).
