Through this new Internet service, customers will now have access to basic information about all business entities registered in Maine--24 hours a day, 7 days a week--at no cost. Additionally, for our customers who require plain or certified copies of corporate filings, this information is available online and can be printed with a home or office printer. We are very excited about this service and the convenience it will provide to the many individuals and businesses that rely on this information.

This site searches the documents on file with the State of Maine for all business and non-profit corporations, trademarks, limited partnerships, limited liability partnerships, and limited liability companies. Basic information is available at no cost regarding each of these entities. This information includes legal name, entity type, status, date of incorporation or filing, assumed and former names, and clerk/registered agent. This information may be printed at no cost from your computer.

For additional information, such as plain or certified copies of filings (annual reports, articles of incorporation, amendments, etc.) and certificates of good standing and legal existence, the usual statutory fees apply and a subscription to InforME, the Information Resource of Maine, is required to process your request and bill your account for the services.
